KAHLIL GIBRAN: An Unparalleled Spiritual Guide for Our Times

This presentation, inspired by Chandler’s latest book, In Search of a Prophet: A Spiritual Journey with Kahlil Gibran (Rowman & Littlefield), promises to be a profound exploration into the life and work of Kahlil Gibran. Gibran, a seminal figure in early 20th-century literature and mysticism, is celebrated for his literary masterpiece The Prophet and his role as a spiritual guide straddling Eastern and Western philosophies.

Chandler will delve into how Gibran’s all-embracing spirituality addresses today’s pressing global issues such as peace, harmony, environmental stewardship, gender equality, and cultural unity. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and a book-signing opportunity.

Paul G. Chandler’s illustrious career spans continents and disciplines, from his leadership in CARAVAN Arts to his curatorial work in prestigious venues globally. His deep understanding of the Middle East and African spiritual traditions enriches his insights into Gibran’s work, making this an event not to be missed.
