10am-1pm at the Museum – Art workshop with children (age groups 5-13 years ) under the direction of Sneha Bhavsar. While working with the children, the artists will also work on their own painting (live). We encourage all visitors to take interest in purchasing each of these artists’ paintings at the end of the day as a token of gift that they can cherish for their service. Children will take their own artwork home along with their art supply and brag about the fun they have at TCF that morning.

10am-1pm at TCF Bldg B: A novel, Echo of the Silence written by a local emerging author, Ali Tareque will be launched. Mr. Tareque will be present in person to discuss the content of his book. All are welcome to attend his presentation and participate in discussion of the book.

10am- 1pm at TCF Bldg B: Handmade arts and crafts will be on display and for sale. All interested are encouraged to present their own artwork with price tag attached if interested in selling their artwork.

2pm-3pm at Outdoor grounds in TCF: Holi (Color) festival -The festival dates back to the fourth century A.D. It commemorates the return of spring after a long winter and also symbolizes good triumphing over evil.

5pm-6pm at Open Air Theater in TCF: Dignitaries reception, program inauguration, opening speech.

6pm-8pm – A Musical and Dance Soiree based on Spring presented by talented artists from Houston.
– Rathna Kumar and Anjali Dance Group – Bharatnatyam
– Supradipta Datta and Kalaangan School of Dance – Odissi
– Soma Das Gupta – Manipuri and Folk
– Vocal and Fusion instrumental by Subrata and Sharmistha Kolay

Food Truck will be selling sumptuous Mediterranean dishes at $15 per plate.
The first 100 guests will be receiving gift coupons for free food plates.
