Conference Center
At Tagore Center, we must work together in a common pursuit of truth, share together our common heritage, and realize that artists in all parts of the world have created forms of beauty, scientists discovered secrets of the universe, philosophers solved the problems of existence, saints made the truth of the spiritual world organic in their own lives, not merely for some particular race to which they belong, but for all mankind.
This is a succinct expression of universalism in which intellectual and artistic achievements are seen to be part of a common human heritage.
It is therefore a critical mission of Tagore Center to introduce universalism in thoughts, ideas, and attitudes from early on in children’s educational curriculums. The core message of the curriculum would be to emphasize the beauty of diversity and where they will be taught to embrace and appreciate diversity naturally.
The hope and purpose are that a broad-based education system will result in future generations who naturally think beyond borders. To them, the world will not be a geographical separation of nations, but one nation of nations without boundaries, embracing diversity and an inherent acceptance of the basic dignity of people no matter from where they are.
In the center of a diverse community stands the human being and his or her potential, which can be achieved through the unity of the individual with the larger community, with nature, and with the world.

Tagore Museum of Fine Arts Building
Tagore envisioned that arts (and nature as a teacher) enable the development of the entire personality, as well as the perception of reality and truth.
“Art awakens a sense of real by establishing an intimate relationship between our inner being and the universe at large, bringing us a consciousness of deep joy.” — Rabindranath Tagore
Tagore Museum of Fine Arts (TMFA) is located on a sprawling 14.6 acres manicured site of Tagore Center Foundation at 3950 Ashburnham Drive, Bldg. A, Houston, Tx 77082. Inside, the building fosters a display of digital paintings of the Poet. The two-story building holds memorabilia, including beautiful sepia photographs of the poet, his family, and his contemporaries. A 60-minute audio-video show takes visitors through Tagore’s life and the movement he spearheaded. Tagore Center Foundation (TCF) invites and welcomes all citizens independent of race, color, religion, and ethnicity from here and abroad to visit the museum and the collection of Tagore’s paintings and memorabilia.

The Butterfly Garden and a Meditation Center (a garden of tranquility)
“Only those of tranquil minds, and no one else, can attain abiding joy, by realizing within their souls the Being who manifests one essence in a multiplicity of forms.”
Tagore believed that man is supposed to live in harmony with Nature and recognize divinity in all elements including plants and animals.
“The same stream of life that runs through my veins runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures. It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth in numberless blades of grass and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers “ — Rabindranath Tagore
The entire campus of Tagore Center Foundation has been designed in a fashion that will immediately give one a feel of that of real Santiniketan where serene and tranquil places have a profound influence to protect nature and our environment.
